Dapper Lou x Bo Clothing - Shot by Quazi King

Very excited to share a new project I’ve been working on with Trendseeder. If you're unfamiliar, Trendseeder is a part e-commerce, part new designer incubator site – a great way to discover new and lesser-known designers and their original pieces – most of which are exclusive to them. One of the Trendseeder designers, Bo Clothing, made a pocket square and tie inspired by my personal style. I met with designer Anthony Chan and he gave me a behind the scenes tour of his Downtown, Manhattan design space. While talking we actually realized we both grew up in New York. He is from the Lower East Side and I'm from Flatbush. Feels like born and bread New Yorkers are a rare breed.

Anthony's meticulous attention to detail and creative vision is what inspired him to start Bo Clothing back in 2011.  "I was into the fashion scene as far back as I can remember. I used to style my buddies in high school, and over the years I developed a talent for helping people make a statement with their wardrobes," say's Anthony.

Trendseeder was created by a sister and brother duo who have business and legal backgrounds. Co-founder Avani Patel was an aspiring designer herself – where she got a taste of the difficulties faced by burgeoning designers. With that fresh in her mind, she decided to create a site where she could put her law degree to use and help advise young and new designers on their business while offering them a chance to dip their toes in the retail pool without the usual overhead costs. To learn more about Trendseeder click here or visit these networks: Twit, Insta, BookFace.
